Capture my dreams

When I look at my dream catchers I see something completely different than what you see. I see every imperfection, every knot, every feather, every bead. I second guess them, I want to continually perfect them, make them better. But when you look at them, and you pick one up, you are amazed. You ask me "you made this?" and look puzzled that I could create this spiraled web of colours. I feel proud. I feel like I fit in, that tiny bit. Like I contribute. I am capable of amazing people with my work. I am capable of spreading beauty in the world.

Making dream catchers is a meditation. It's soothing and calming, yet it takes drive and commitment. My motivation to make dream catchers is more than my motivation for anything these days.

I want to design them, perfect them, photograph them, and share them. If my creations, my art, could make it around the world, that would be amazing.
